Overview
There are three principal technologies we are using so people participate before, during and after the Canada 3.0 Forum:
* YouTube
Refer to on the Canada 3.0 website and look to the Community page to see automated, syndication feeds from each of them.

The Canada 3.0 Forum
This is a classic electronic bulletin board style discussion group ( view). Anyone make a new post or reply to postings by others.
You can post directly or send an email to discussions@canada30.iglooevents.net
This is a very popular micro-blogging site (to learn more about twitter read here or watch a video). Users can make posts of up to 140 characters (called 'tweets') through the twitter website or a range of mobile devices (e.g. a mobile phone). If you don't have a twitter account, it's easy to sign up, but you don't need to in order to see what others at the Canada 3.0 Forum post to twitter though tweets.
* The official twitter account for the event is: http://twitter.com/Canada3Forum - consider 'Following' this
* Anybody that wants to tweet about the conference simply needs to include the hashtag #can30 (learn more about hashtags here)
* Tweets including the #can30 hashtag:
- Can be see immediately through a twitter search here
- Are being syndicated in the Community ( http://canada30.iglooevents.net/) (there may be a delay of up to one hour)
* Additional hashtags can be added to route your tweets based on topic:
* #Question - if you have a question
* #DigShov - Digital Shovels Stream
* #MobMed - Mobility and Media Stream
* #DMR - Digital Media Research and Commercialization Stream
* #TalentAR - Talent Attraction and Retention Stream

YouTube
Student videographers will be circulating during the event and regularly uploading short video highlights to the Canada 3.0 Forum Channel on YouTube. You can conveniently see these through the Forum's Community Conversations page.
Others
The Canada 3.0 Forum also has Facebook and LinkedIn accounts, and supports RSS feeds for the Discussion Group and Blogs (see the Blogs directly here).
